The Mini First Aid Choking Bundle is designed to help parents be aware of the risks of choking but does not completely remove the risk. Parents are advised to take all necessary advice when starting to wean their babies, including ensuring that baby can sit upright unaided in an appropriately supportive high chair. Never leave a baby or toddler alone at mealtimes or allow them to walk around with food.
Choking is one of the biggest fears among parents, so we've teamed up with our friends at Mini First Aid (as seen on Dragon's Den) to bring you a bundle of safe eating favourites alongside some of our own award-winning mealtime favourites.

Build confidence and enjoy fun-filled mealtime adventures with our wipe-clean 50 First Foods Exploration Chart. Use from the early stages of weaning to track the foods your baby tries and how often. Recording each exposure to reach the recommended minimum of five times will help jog your memory and work towards the baby’s acceptance of different foods. Don’t worry if they don’t seem to take to it straight away. Keep going, and use the chart to support flavour and texture exploration in a fun and convenient way.
With the help of experts, we’ve developed a practical road map at the top of the chart. It’ll help you explore all the ways your little one can experience food, supporting them to grow and stay curious. Whether baby touches, squishes, smells, or tastes it, it counts, so be sure to log it on their chart. Remember that the best time to introduce new foods is between 6 and 12 months because babies are more open to new tastes and flavours. Use your chart to maximise this window of opportunity and introduce as much variety as possible. You’ll give them the building blocks for the best start in life.
You can use your chart to inspire your meal planning, and help expand food choices as a family. And as we've included the NHS approved first foods, and known allergens too, you can relax knowing you've covered the basics. So pop it in the kitchen or dining room, and enjoy recording your progress as you discover new foods and flavours together. There are also some top tips to make mealtimes even more fun, and build those mouth muscles for successful eating.'
Watch and learn as your baby develops a curiosity for food and mealtimes, that will nurture their development and ensure they’re a happy, healthy eater for life.
